9. AERIAL LIFE
The silhouetted center of this piece presents the outline of a soaring bird with wings across the sky while feathers, bills, and heads amid the symbols of a nest appear as allegories of all aerial life. An egg is also rendered at the bottom of the sculpture in its hatching stage.
